We are sad about the hurricane that destroyed New Orleans and parts of Mississippi and Alabama. We do not understand how some people could have left their pets behind. Some of the owners even tried to stay with their beloved pets and died. Those poor kitties and doggies and other animals must be so scared, hungry and anxious. Please pray for them and hope that they are O.K and find good homes. I'm sure the people were really scared and did not know what to do. I know a lot of people will regret having chosen to leave them. It's just so heartbreaking. All of it. Remember to hug your pets today. They love you more than anything in this whole world. You are God to them! You are their whole world. I think if my only choice was to leave them to die, I would not be capable of doing it. I would rather stay and take my chances with them. I could not live with the thought of leaving them in a dangerous situation. It would be like leaving my children behind. I would have found some way to get all of us to safety. Whatever it took. Meeeeeeeeeeow!
